On June 1, 1986, Bert Schelhaas started working at AtéCé Graphic Products, the company that had been taken over for the family in 1985 by his father, Bert Schelhaas Sr. At the time, AtéCé produced only press chemicals and supplied commercial products to printing companies. AtéCé grew from ‘3.5 men’ to over 100 employees today. Despite the growth, AtéCé has always remained a true family business with many loyal employees who have been working at AtéCé for years. The honoree therefore hopes to remain connected to AtéCé, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year together with his family and the employees for some time to come.
