Coldset Web Offset

Coldset Web Offset is a subset of Web offset printing, typically used for lower quality print output and typical for newspaper production. In this process, the ink dries by absorption into the underlying paper. Newspapers are not only constantly seeking for new markets, which often imply higher quality, but are also looking for production improvements.
