CMYK invests in Morgana creaser to keep finishing jobs in-house
CMYK Process Print has invested in a Morgana Digifold Pro creaser/folder to handle output from its litho machines.
The north London-based trade printer is using the digital specialist machine to finish work from its Komori five- and four-colour B2 presses.
CMYK’s managing director Dave Southwell said: "We invested in the machinery so that we no longer had to send out work, which will save money. The machine is ideal for the shorter runs we handle."
He added that the compact dimensions of the DigiFold were an additional plus point as the company has severe space constraints.
CMYK mainly prints leaflets, stationary, folders and business cards and has a turnover of £80,000.
Elsewhere, John Clason, formerly national sales manager for Morgana Systems, has returned as area sales manager for Scotland and the North East.
Clason, who took time off after nearly 30 years at the firm, will be based in his native Edinburgh.
