Best Cover closes general finishing arm
Coatings specialist Best Cover has closed its general finishing arm and placed it into voluntary liquidation.
Insolvency practitioner BWC Business Solutions has been appointed to Best Cover UK, however managing director Darren Crake said that the decorative side, Best Cover, was unaffected and will continue to trade.
Both Leeds and Bristol facilities will continue to operate, while one employee has been made redundant.
Crake said: "I have decided to place Best Cover UK into voluntary liquidation. Unfortunately due to extremely poor market prices and the overheads required to run the fold/stitch/trim division we decided that it was not economically viable to continue."
Best Cover UV went into administration in April this year, before being sold back to its previous owners.
