PPA releases latest pass4press
The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) has released the latest version of its pass4press guidelines for the digital advertising workflow.
Pass4press v9, which is available online at www.pass4press.com, stresses the importance of good preparation of production files, final print PDF quality checking and accurate communication of print specifications.
It also includes application settings for all the latest software packages from Adobe and Quark, and covers the whole page-creation process.
Jonathan Moore, chairman of the pass4press committee, said: Pass4press v9 reflects international guidelines that will help you send files that you can have confidence in, and that will cause fewer problems on process.
Pass4press was created as a set of best practice guidelines on how to create reliable print-ready PDF files.
