Card cutter just the thing for copy centre

--> The purchaser of Allied Machinery Services (AMS) first BC-10 business card cutter, Yunus Patel who has owned Copiesplus in Mt Roskill for four years, is thrilled with the compact machine that has made his growing business card business a whole lot easier.

The machine sits neatly in one corner of the digital printing and copy shop, hugely more compact that any other piece of printing equipment the busy firm has.

Yunus says he wasn't intending buying the card cutter until he saw another piece of equipment AMS was promoting but was sold on it when he saw what it could do.

The automatic machine loads A4 sheets up to 300 grams and cuts up to 100 cards per minute. It has self-sharpening knives and will cut approximately 17 million cards before they need replacing.

There are five variations of car size and trim margin options are automatically adjusted. Cutting is adjustable horizontally and vertically. It will also read and self-adjust to printing cutting marks.

Yunus says a laborious job previously now only takes a few minutes and is perfect for the heavier cards that people are now demanding.

"It is a very affordable piece of equipment for our growing business card business," he says.
