LithoTechnics signs up Prism to handle global sales of Metrix
LithoTechnics, developer of the Metrix automated layout tool, has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with global MIS vendor Prism.
Under the terms of the deal, New Zealand-based Prism, which has its UK base in Colchester, will sell and support the entire Metrix product line on a global basis.
Kathy Mitchell, general manager of Prism Australasia, said: “This agreement will allow Prism to deliver an expanded integration solution to our mutual clients that builds upon the standard JDF integration.”
LithoTechnics president Rohan Holt added: “The future of print requires a whole new level of integration between MIS and production, and I’m very excited that with this new agreement Prism and LithoTechnics will continue to push this envelope.”
It is understood that the deal will not impact on LithoTechnics existing UK distribution deal with Middlesex-based Positive Focus.
Positive Focus managing director Ivor Dixon said: “The Prism deal will be good for Metrix worldwide and should increase product visibility, which will be good for everyone.”
