Latest Morgana cutter unveiled
Finishing equipment manufacturer Morgana has launched the Digital Flexi Cut die-cutter.
The Milton Keynes-based manufacturer believes the machine will allow non-specialist printers and finishers to expand into on-demand die cutting.
The machine has been designed to be compact and can carry out simple die-cutting, kiss-cutting, embossing and creasing.
It can handle a number of materials, including paper, card, foil and PVC, in weights from 35-450gsm. Operating speed is up to 2,000 sheets per hour and it accepts sheet sizes from 160x90mm up to 500x300mm.
Morgana also said the machine's three-minute set-up time and low wastage rate made it suitable for short-run, on-demand work.
