Printondemand-worldwide signs overseas partnerships
Printondemand-worldwide is gearing up for global expansion by establishing a network of international print partners.
The Cambridge-based digital on-demand book printer has recently signed overseas partnership agreements with printers in the US, Singapore and Australia.
According to the £3m-turnover company, these strategic alliances will allow overseas publishers to order books online to their preferred specifications, in any quantity from one to 3,000, and have them printed, published and distributed where they are needed.
Andy Cork, managing director of Printondemand-worldwide, said: "We are now extremely well-positioned to print, distribute and fulfil for publishers entering the global market from the UK, Europe, North and South America, Australasia and the Far East.
"We feel sure that the increasing costs of transport and the effect this has on the environment, combined with the necessity of getting books to market quickly, will continue to drive this strategy forward."
Printondemand-worldwide, which has just posted its best six-month trading performance in its 16-year history, will showcase its global print partner network to publishers at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October.
