ImageData Group adds Zünd cutting table to latest spend
Display printer ImageData Group has added to an M-Press Tiger flatbed printer with a G3 L-3200 cutting table from Zünd.
The Howden, East Yorkshire-based company bought the machine for prototyping and production of small runs of display graphics and 3D units.
It is able to finish a number of different materials, including foam, Perspex, acrylics, vinyls and mount board up to 50mm thickness. The Zünd has a working area of 1,800mmx3,200mm and a maximum plotting speed of 1,000mm.
According to ImageData, the wide-format size renders the machine perfect for banners, flags and posters.
David Danforth, managing director of ImageData Group, said: "We are actively pursuing these specialist markets and make no bones about wanting a bigger slice of the cake.
"Clients have always demanded fast turnarounds of their print projects, often using unusual materials with intricate cuts, creases and folds, but in today’s breakneck, competitive climate, clients’ requests are even more demanding. We are confident that we can more than keep the pace."
